Day 20

Day 20 Check-In: Momentum, Quartermoon, and Interview Prep Mode

Day 20.

Today had the kind of energy I love — things moving forward.

Morning Win: Lower Body Workout ✅

I began my day with a solid 45-minute lower body workout.

Calf raises, squats, and strength work using the Swiss ball — the kind of session that reminds me I’m not just building my career right now…

I’m building myself.

Because this journey isn’t only about interviews and job applications.

It’s also about staying strong, consistent, and grounded — physically and mentally.

Recruiter Interview ✅

I had my recruiter interview today for one of the companies I applied to.

It was a good conversation and helped me understand a bit more about:

  • the company
  • the team
  • what they’re really looking for

The best part?

He set up interviews for the next round right away.

I’m excited because it’s moving faster, and that momentum feels really encouraging.

Back to the Coffee Shop (Same Spot, Same Quartermoon)

After the call, I went back to my now familiar routine:

Same coffee shop.
Same Quartermoon coffee.
Same mindset:

focus and execute.

Prepping for Tomorrow: Peer Interview

The rest of my day was all about preparing for my interview tomorrow — a peer interview.

I worked on improving my executive presence and how I present myself clearly during behavioral conversations.

Because I’ve realized something:

It’s not just about having the right experience.
It’s about communicating it with clarity, calmness, and confidence.

Pomodoro + 4 Hours of Focused Work

To stay locked in, I used the Pomodoro method to keep my focus sharp.

And it worked.

I got 4 hours of productive study in — the kind where you feel like you actually moved the needle.

A Big Step: Asking for Feedback ✅

One more important thing I did today — and I’m genuinely proud of this —

I reached out to request feedback from a previous interview at another company I interviewed with last week.

And they’re willing to provide it to me over a call this week.

That matters a lot to me, because feedback is how you get sharper.

Not by guessing what went wrong…
but by learning it clearly, adjusting intentionally, and coming back stronger.

Day 20 was a solid reminder that progress is happening.

Interviews are lining up.
Preparation is getting stronger.
And I’m showing up with intention.
